Why it is called Daftari

Daftari is Swahili for notebook.

Most salons already keep a book by the chair. Daftari is that book, kept on a screen and a phone, so the owner can read it from anywhere.

The paper book, the front till and the owner's phone, showing the same day's services and money.

Headaches salon owners know.

The headacheWhat changes
Nobody remembers who did the retwist. Each service is recorded against the person who did it, with the time it started.
Cash, mobile money and card get mixed up.Each payment is written down with how it was paid and its reference.
The drawer does not match the day.At the end of a shift, the cash counted is set against the cash expected. A gap shows at once.
A service quietly disappears from the book.A mistake can be cancelled within a few minutes. After that, only the owner can, with a PIN and a reason.
Products leave the shelf with no record.Sell lotions, oils and hair products on the same ticket as the service, and see what is running low.
